Techcross, holding direct electrolysis technology, is one of the global leading companies of BWMS industry. They developed ECS-HychlorTM System which applies indirect electrolysis technology with their own electrolysis technology. ECS-HychlorTM System has outstanding advantage on existing vessel due to its convenience of installation. The cause is the indirect electrolysis has a simple operation flow. As the ballast water flows, HGU(Hypochlorite Generation Unit) generates a high concentrate of TRO and injects to the main ballast line. This means it only requires insignificant effort to retrofit the system. Additional feature of ECS-HychlorTM System is SMU (Static Mixer Unit). Its structure is specially designed by Techcross (Under the process of patent). SMU also support dilution between TRO and ballast water to increase disinfection efficiency. Furthermore, DMU (Degas Module Unit) is consisted of Non-explosive components and guarantees its safety while H2 gas is discharging. Recently, IMO BWM convention has come into force from September 7th 2017. A/S service and troubleshooting issue consequently became more and more important. Therefore, Techcross developed “Remote A/S support system” to solve the problems which may occur when BWMS is operating on the vessel by checking the operation log in real-time and solving the problem immediately. Remote A/S support system will be applied from 2018, also ECS-HychlorTM System will be released soon after the achievement of USCG Type Approval in 2018. Before the system is introduced to the market, ECS-HychlorTM System and Remote A/S support system will be officially unveiled at Kormarine 2017. Techcross is going to hold a presentation for the new system and demonstration of the new service system during the exhibition. Techcross’ stand is to be located at 3D39 in Hall 3 of Bexco.
