The major BWMS manufacturer Techcross made a donation through voluntary fundraising by employees and making socks-dolls to the alienated neighbors who live inside and outside the country.
Techcross delivered the donation amounting to more than US$11,800 which was raised by its employees during 2016-2017 to Busan Gangseo-gu Welfare Center on 21st February. This would be used for the neighbors who have troubles in supporting themselves.
Also, Techcross’ employees held an event to make socks-dolls for Cambodian children with YMCA and Busan Gangseo-gu Welfare Center. These socks-dolls would be delivered with school supplies when Korean volunteers visit Cambodia to remodel the local school facilities in August.
In these ways, as a part of value-based management, Techcross conducts volunteer service activities on a regular basis, which ends in gaining trust from the community. Techcross said that “we would not save our efforts to be a company that is growing together with social community on top of securing commercial profits through developing and selling our systems.” |
