In February 2026, the Greek government type approval for the Techcross ECS-B 1.1 model was renewed. Over the past six months, Techcross conducted biological efficacy tests at a land-based test facility, demonstrating outstanding organism elimination performance even under more challenging conditions than those applied during the previous type approval tests. In particular, the system’s performance in freshwater environments, traditionally considered a weakness of electrolysis systems, has been significantly improved. The required salinity has been reduced from 1.5 PSU to 0.1 PSU, expanding the operational range of the product. In addition, the holding time of treated water has been reduced from 23 hours to 13 hours, nearly halving the time and significantly improving operational efficiency.
