In early March, Techcross successfully completed the commissioning of its Alternative Maritime Power (AMP) system at the Sedef shipyard in Turkiye. Since officially entering the AMP business in 2023, Techcross has steadily expanded its references in the domestic market. This project is particularly significant as it marks the company’s first overseas export achievement in the AMP sector.
The vessel equipped with the AMP system is one of two 4,000 TEU container vessels ordered by a Turkish shipowner. A key feature of the project is its modular package design, in which various power panels and equipment were pre-installed inside a 40-foot container, minimizing on-site installation work and improving efficiency. The second sister vessel with the same specifications is scheduled to undergo a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) in early July, followed by commissioning later this year.
Leveraging the extensive engineering expertise and project execution experience accumulated through its BWMS business, Techcross provides AMP solutions optimized for specific vessel environments and customer requirements. Techcross has also strengthened price competitiveness by establishing a collaborative framework with Chinese partners.
This project was successfully completed amid high interest from shipowners and shipyards, once again demonstrating Techcross’s technical capabilities and project management excellence. Building on this first overseas achievement, Techcross plans to further expand its presence in the global market and continue increasing the proportion of its overseas sales in its business portfolio.

Techcross’s integrated control platform, IBTV (Integrated BWMS·TLGS·VRCS), has been installed on KOMERI 1’ the world’s first multipurpose commercial vessel dedicated to sea-based demonstration of marine equipment. IBTV is a unified solution that enables the integrated management of Ballast Water Management System (BWMS), Tank Level Gauging System (TLGS), and Valve Remote Control System (VRCS) on a single platform. Through this project, Techcross has installed its BWMS, VRCS, and TLGS on KOMERI 1 to verify the performance of systems under actual operating conditions, thereby securing a real-sea operational references.
Until now, many marine equipment manufacturers have faced challenges in adopting by global shipowners, even after completing new product development and performance verification, due to a lack of actual onboard operational references. To overcome this challenge, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources and the Busan Metropolitan City jointly constructed the world’s first multipurpose commercial vessel dedicated to the sea-based demonstration of marine equipment. KOMERI 1, a 17,000 DWT bulk carrier, is equipped with various domestically developed marine equipment, including Techcross’s IBTV and an LNG fuel supply system. The vessel is scheduled to operate on actual trading routes across Southeast Asia, China, India and other regions, where it will collect real-world operational data.
Through this demonstration, Techcross plans to further enhance the operational stability and efficiency of IBTV. In particular, the company expects to provide better solutions to customers by strengthening product reliability based on actual operational data and securing references across various vessel types and operating environments.
