TECHCROSS, one of the global leaders in the ballast water management system (BWMS) market, and Drydocks World (DW), the largest ship repair facility in Dubai, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 23 February, 2015.

Located in the Middle East, DW has established itself as a leading and growing international shipyard in Offshore, Engineering, Ship Repair and Maintenance over the past 30 years. With the ratification of the 2004 IMO Ballast Water Management Convention nearing entry-into-force, DW has recognized a need to support their customers, and believes that good and effective cooperation with selected BWMS providers will be critical towards providing such support.

TECHCROSS, as a partner to DW with this MOU, shares the common goal to provide accessible, accurate and up-to-date information to ship owners, managers, and other customers of DW who have or may have a need for BWMS installation on their vessels. TECHCROSS will be providing technical service and engineering knowledge to DW, while DW will be providing service support along with joint marketing.

 This MOU between TECHCROSS and DW is intended to take advantage of the significant retrofitting market once the IMO BWM Convention is ratified.
