Techcross will participate in international exhibitions
2019-05-17

Techcross, a representative BWMS company, said they will participate in two international shipbuilding & marine exhibitions held in the first half of 2019. First, the 2019 Imabari Maritime Fair (Bariship 2019), which opens on May 23, is held in Imabari, Ehime Prefecture, where many shipyards and freight forwarders are concentrated. In the exhibition for this year, which has the theme of marine environment and maritime IT, 350 Korean and foreign companies including Techcross will participate to promote their products.

As mandatory installation of BWMS is coming closer, customer inquiries about BWMS are expected to increase on the spot, Techcross is planning to aggressively promote its Computer Based Training (CBT) program which began real application in ships at the end of last year. CBT is a crew training program developed to easily solve customer questions in real time, as the actual use of BWMS increases. And as CBT is embedded in the product, it can be used in the field whenever the need arises. All contents are easy to follow as they include videos. In addition, as it can be used without Internet, free checking is available even in ships where the communication environment is not good. Techcross is developing a chatbot program for real-time response and plans on distributing it after the CBT program.

Techcross will also participate in Nor-Shipping 2019, an international ship fair held in Oslo, Norway, from June 14, at the Korea Pavilion hosted by the Korea Marine Equipment Association (KOMEA). Techcross has won orders of 472 ships so far this year. It is expected to rack up record sales, easily more than double the sales records.
