Forty-nine vessels were introduced as Significant Ships by the Royal Institution of Naval Architect, the most prestigious maritime institution in London, through the annual magazine, ‘Significant Ships of 2013’. Many of these vessels have also installed ballast water management systems to protect the marine ecosystem. Among the vessels that have installed a BWMS, 7 are installed with TECHCROSS ECS (Electro-Cleen^TM System) which represent 30% of the Significant Ships with a ballast water management system. The vessels installed with ECS include containers, bulk carriers, VLCC’s and LPG carriers from shipowners and shipyards all over the world. TECHCROSS ECS has proven once again to be favorable to a diverse group of customers from all over the world. Furthermore, the previous ‘Significant Ships of 2012’ included 3 TECHCROSS systems.
