Techcross, a specialized water electrolysis company, has delivered good news for its hydrogen business by being selected as a key participant in the “Intelligent Power Grid Components and Systems Industry” project, hosted by the Korea Electrotechnology Research Institute (KERI).

This project aims to drive advancements in the hydrogen-electric power technology sector by providing participating companies with infrastructure for technical guidance, testing and evaluation, and prototype production. Through this program, Techcross has secured a good opportunity to conduct demonstration operations of its water electrolysis system in an optimal environment. The main product supplied by Techcross is a 50kW water electrolysis system, a core infrastructure that produces hydrogen through electrolysis and supplies power to fuel cell power generation facilities. This system lays the foundation for establishing Hydrogen Energy Storage System (HESS) platform, integrating hydrogen production, storage, and consumption.

Techcross aims to secure performance references and complete validation for HESS through this project. Additionally, the company plans to launch a 300kW water electrolysis system in the first half of this year and complete the development and demonstration of a 2.5MW water electrolysis system by 2026, reinforcing its position as a leading hydrogen technology company.
